STANS Table Top Rally

Stan has taken some time off from all the scrutineering he does and has finally organised this Table Top Rally. Unfortunately as he is not a Club member and cannot drive he has asked me to front this event. (He uses the same excuse for me to mow his back garden)
Anyway normal sort of event, let me know if you are going to compete so that I can do an entry list of sorts and helps me decide how much printing to do. You can pay on the night.
The opening round of the Winter 12 car series, so we can expect to see all the up and coming navigators competing for early points before the Priestley 12 car the following week.

Hi all, bit of a problem on Thursday in that both myself and Stan have been invited on my son’s UK stag night. As he intends only getting married once, clearly I do not want to miss this night as it is planned for his relatives and friends who could not get to Ibiza 3 weeks ago. (For some reason I was not let into the secrecy of this event so not quite sure what is planned, hopefully it will not involve front page of the News of the World!)
This leaves option of either canceling until a future date when I can make it or running it with two volunteers. Unfortunately no-one is that closely involved who can run it on the night and it would be difficult to answer queries if the organiser of the route, the clues and the questions is not there. Personally I would prefer to be there as I have completed most of the prep work.
Interest in the event was quite poor in any event with just 2 confirmed and two tentative entries which is probabaly my fault due to lack of advertising and hype etc. We do not have a Club Night event planned for October so I intend to defer until then. Please note this is deferred not cancelled as the route, clues, questions are all ready to go. October may also be better for interest, being in the middle of the 12 car championship.

We are all systems go for the new date and Stan will be making an appearance for all you doubters, put an entry in to see the man some of you thought a figment of my imagination. Somehow we will work round the EGM, as I have to chair that, we may make it a selective!

I'm just the driver for the evening but with them two doing it might be giving Claire a little more help than she might want. Not that I'm competitive you understand.
